    There's another sensor in the sump so change that when you change the oil.

    I've got nexan n6000's on my 2.5q with no probs. decent wear and £96 each when I bought them. 235/40/18. Saying that the falkens get a good right up.

    No need to block the nipple as egr won't be functioning anyway. I would think anyway.

    I only used one plate at first & blanked pipe. Now I have 2 plates and removed whole egr with no problems. But it feels the same as one plate did.

    If they are going on the back they wont set the speedo wrong, but on the front could give you a slightly false speed reading, however i dought in this case it would make a lot of difference Are they not 235/40/18 from the factory anyway so speedo will be correct.

    My 2.5 turbo whistled when I bought it as well. Got 40,000 miles then it got really noisy. It even whistled at tickover. Got new turbo before Xmas. No more whistling.

    2.5TDi V6 EGR Blanking plates

    I blanked the hose years ago. Then made a blanking plate for radiator end. Then bought both blanking plates. No difference noticed since just blanking the hose. Takes a bit o time to warm up though.removed my egr altogether when I fitted both blanking plates.

    I would think the oil level switch in the sump. Done 2 s4's lately and my own 2.5 with these problems and solved it.
