Best bet is to go to a scrapyard and try and find the same model a3 as yours and cut the connectors, then you can solder them onto yours.

Sounds like the spacers could be something to do with it, possible wheel balance. Can you feel any vibrations through the seat? Would recommend checking your wheel nut torque immediately just I case the wheel has slightly loosened! Then follow rusty's advice

Hi mate, sounds like either your clutch or flywheel are the cause, not sure if yours is fitted with a dual mass flywheel, these are common to fail and can usually be heard by a loud rattle on idle. A local garage shouldnt take long to pinpoint it. hope this helps
