Well the stereo is goosed. Hooked it up to another power source and it does nothing however there is also no power from the monoblock. Soooo any idea where there's a fuse that may have blown? And I'm assuming that I'm gonna have to shell out for a new stereo too?

I ran a charging cable from the cigarette lighter, behind the stereo and out the blank switches next to the esp button, just drilled a hole and put a rubber grommit in. Works a treat. could be an option?
Are you sure they are actually dead? My S3 spare key used to do this but once I'd unlocked the car manually and started the car with it it worked fine.
If you look up in the channel there should be two u shaped metal clips on each one. Pop them out with a long screwdriver wrapped in a cloth and then pull then out. They may have double sided tape on but will pull out eventually. What are you doing with them?
