Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought - just wanted to make sure there were no hidden nasties! I assume the turbo/exhaust manifold combo comes out through the space left by the exhaust when it's removed? (Or is there sufficient space to lift them out upwards)?

Thanks for the reply. I've now had the car smoke tested at Awesome GTi and they couldn't find anything. They removed/tested the PCV and it was apparently working correctly, same with the diverter valve. The smoke test showed no leaks whatsoever. But.... the problem still remains. Just because...
