It's in the exhaust manifold just under the turbo it's tricky to get on I would suggest making sure this is your issue as I have known theses th snap in the manifold and that a a whole different job
Did you replace the plugs ? and what condition are they in this can tell you alot and possibly locate what cylinder has an issue I would be covering basics first
If the engine mount came loose and has damage the toothed belt likely out come is that it has caused the camshaft timing to be so far out that 1 or several valves have hit the pistons o would re do the valve/ cam timing remove all glow plugs and turn engine over by hand to feel for excessive...
It sounds like you only have 1 key so why not order a new key and remote this is mostly likely the problem you then have a good working key and a spare
Hi 50% is high so if it was me I would take it too your local Audi centre as there should be an event stored relating to your issue if not maybe a sw update
Does not really make sense ??? Does it make the noise when stationary? What about if you was to switch engine off when coasting to see if noise is still present?
What sort of mileage has the car done ?
Very common on high mileage engines with variable vein turbos they become seized/jammed ect... this then will cause engine to over boost and the ECU will then shut off the turbo for safety reasons
This can happen in poor driving conditions such as heavy rain, fog or even excessive road spray after rain , this would disable the system and would not log an event in the cars ECU
