I have just tried activating it the way you mentioned earlier in the thread. I set it to active and then always on. It accepted but didn't do anything [emoji853] Code I used was 24990

I have managed to activate it now, but still doesn't work [emoji848] I wonder if I need the button to now turn it on? Or is there a way to activate it in VCDS. I had the belt on as I know that's a condition that must be met, but still no joy. There's light at the end of the tunnel though now haha

I used to have one on my golf R and continually drained the battery, once I couldn't even get in the car, had to open the door with the key and stick the battery on charge. I have a JB1 on my S3 an don't have any problems

And it's a late 2015 car, think it's a my16

Mine also comes up with the same error, when I set the indicators out of phase. Soon as it's back to normal coding the code goes away
