I too would like to say thanks to Congo for sorting out my Google Maps. I had long since resigned myself to no longer having them and it's fantastic to see the Virtual Cockpit restored to its full Google glory! Well worth the 180 Euros and the update was all done remotely within a few emails...
I asked my dealer about this, as my MY17 A4 has just lost the Google Maps/Earth feature (and associated traffic overlay). They double checked with the service team and sadly there is no alternative being developed for my car. Incredibly irritating as it's the feature I use most often and one of...
What trailer do you have? I have 2016 P6E with a 13 pin socket and the lights only come on when the dipped beams are on - not with the DRLs.
As said above, UK DRLs are only on the front so I think this normal.

I'm not brave enough to try this until someone has translated it! It says parametrisation of the camera is required and it needs VCP to do it. Might wait lol

To be honest I wouldn't be taking the chance if I knew i'd done some damage to the tyre. Whilst it may be a slow puncture a low speeds who's to say it won't suddenly develop into a blow-out at high speeds?
I'd definitely take it in to get looked at but if it's taken a chunk out of the rubber...
I gave up trying to figure out the logic of when the parking brake applies itself at switch off. I've now decided there is no logic and it's entirely random!
But yes, if it doesn't apply itself then the car rocks forward/back slightly as locks against the gearbox.

32 - Hampshire, young family. Got fed up with running out of space in the A3 hence the Avant.
Having said that, a friend just picked up his new Tiguan.... Same price as my Audi and has more toys.. might be the next one for me!

This is also affecting the A4s with tech pack over in the B9 forum. Lots of similar complaints of Google maps loading issues over the past few weeks.
Definitely sounding like an Audi/Google issue!

If a lot of us are suddenly getting the issue then I guess it may be a server issue rather than the car? I would also agree that it's started within the last 10 days.
Mine has also started popping up with the Google Earth loading image, and it's doing it more and more frequently as each week progresses. It seems to crash and try and reboot but then gets stuck until I do a manual reset of the MMI. Looking like a trip to the dealers may be in order if it...
Totally agree that we should only compare like for like. Interested to hear what mileage other Avant 2.0tdi S-line owners are achieving on the hankooks.
Tyre size/profile is 245/40/18 Y

Yeah, 18k I think is closer to what I was expecting - not less than half that!
I'll have a look at the Michelin primacy 3s as the Hankook prices are £130+ per corner which doesn't seem very mid-range to me!

Morning all. I've just checked the tread on my tyres and realised the fronts are pretty much on the limit. The car is 9 months old and has covered about 9k miles - I can't believe how quick they've worn! Is this normal for FWD diesels? My previous 1.4 A3 managed 20k+ before needing new shoes so...
Not a silly question at all, I've definitely done more stupid things in the past! But no, it was definitely off in this case.
Hasn't repeated the issue since yesterday so I'll see how it goes. It's due a service in a few months time so if it continues to behave I'll mention it to them then and...
Locked my car as normal today after a 90 minute drive. Noticed the indicators didn't flash to confirm it had locked. All the doors and boot were shut but it wouldn't flash the lights. After a bit of hunting discovered that neither of the two rear passenger doors were locking!
