got mine delivered yesterday, how easy are they to fit? do them little metal clips go into the top of the door or the sides of the door? I would of thought the top but that dodgy fitting intsructions slip seems to suggest that they go in the sides of the door? :think:

just checked and when I open the boot lid the display on the dash shows that the boot is open, so I guess it must be the solenoid? is there a 'how to' replace it on here? cheers

Looks like im gunna have to get a boot solenoid then, does anyone know a rough price for one of these? where the best place to get it? main dealers? ill try bending the pins on the keyfob battery, hopfully that will work, thanks for the replies :icon_thumright:

Every couple of days the central locking just stops working, I have to re sync the key with the car (switching ignition on & pressing unlock) as the key fob buttons stop working, I've replaced the battery's on both of my keys so its not that, its starting to annoy me, is this a common thing? is...

These look spot on, do you have a link to the exact ones that you ordered? one thing that I have noticed with my A4 is the actual noise from the wind on both front windows, it almost sounds as if the windows are slightly open, never had this problem on a car before until now, these deflectors...

I think its time to replace the NS wing on the B6 due to rust, read a few threads on here and seems like a common problem on these cars by the sounds of it, I've been quoted £40 from my local motor factors but im wary of the car looking absolute sh!te if it doesn't line up properly! has any had...

Your right, that's a sort of follow on reason from them distracting you, there's tons of reasons why they load the premium for certain things, I used to laugh when people would say they only did 1000 miles per year thinking it would lower the premium, when in fact it actually increases it :lmfao:

Apparently your classed as higher risk as they could distract u when your driving, that's one of the reasons, I've also heard about quite a lot of claims because of kids ramming there bikes etc into the side of the car!

I used to work in insurance & yes it is more expensive if you put down that you have any under 16's in the household...
