    stalling with hill hold assist

    For the first few months I had the same problem. And the same as you it only happened after start/stop. What worked for me was giving the car a few more seconds to recover from start stop before pulling off. It doesn't happen to me anymore, it just takes a little time to get used to it.

    I ordered the comfort pack and also can not see any indication on the window that it is acoustic. Not that I mind much as it is quiet in the car. It would just be nice to know if it is installed or not.

    I put gtechniq C5 on mine 6 months ago and they are still going strong. They are really easy to clean.

    Hold Assist

    Apart from once the car hits the biting point on the clutch it releases the break. It's worth every penny. Turned HA on once and never touched hand break or HA since.

    I just put pressure on the top. Not towards the window. Not a lot of pressure, I doubt it has fixed it to be fair, it will probably come back at some point.

    I had it the one day and it was doing my head in. I pushed the top and the screen actually popped back in to the dash. I've not heard it since. I do play my music loud tho.

    In my opinion you only need heated seats with leather. Save some cash and spend it on something else. I know it's not that cold yet, but I can't see it being an issue with my sline seats.

    The book mentioned putting my wipers in service mode. I looked in the MMI and couldn't find the option. Can you put the wipers in service mode on the 8V.

    I have the 140bhp and I test drove the 122bhp there is definitely more power with the 140bhp but I was still impressed with the 122bhp. IMO the 140bhp is the best choice, on paper there is no reason other than cost to choose the 122bhp. I have never noticed mine dropping to 2 cylinders, maybe...

    Kind of a random one here. Where are you keeping your folder with your manuals in? In my opinion it doesn't fit that well in the glove box, an the glove box is tiny. Is there somewhere else other than the glove box that is better suited?

    MMI Red cable & iPhone 5 iOS7

    Has anyone got the iPhone 5 on iOS7 working with the red MMI cable? I bought a lightning connector of eBay and it shows as not supported on the device and on the MMI. It does charge the iPhone just can't play music. It's not a big problem as I can just use Bluetooth. I'm sure at this point...
