They'll look fly on the Avant I reckon :) Got my eyes open for some decent wheels for ours some point before the summer season.
Just read the thread on TT forum, Terrific write-ups man, made me chuckle, Especially the wee apprentice!!!
Good luck to you pal, I'll keep in touch no doubt.
Wow, you've come a long way since last month, Well done mate! Gotta say, I admire your no messin' about attitude. Good luck with it, I'm sure it'll be a peach when you've finished with it. What wheels are you looking at?
I've seen the wings fitted on Garths, they're a good fit. For £40 you can't go wrong really. I reckon £80 is a damn sight better than £300+ from Audi/TPS.
I was of the school of thought that Audi ones are the only way to go seeing as I intend to keep the car long-term and always try to fit...
Not posted on here for a while which is kind of a good thing I guess?! Either way she's been getting a little bit of pampering over the last month or two. I reckon TPS have made a small fortune out of me recently the bar-stewards!
First, I Finally got round to fitting the aero wiper arms I...
Not that bad though considering the genuine replacement for your car from Audi is about £145. I got genuine from TPS and managed to work them down to about £84 +vat.
Try YUASA, from EuroCarParts, they're generally quite well regarded for their batteries - I think they typically come from...
Don't kill me if I'm wrong but I reckon there was a chassis break on the B6 around 03/53 or possibly more precisely 2002 built and 2003 built cars, where some things became different/revised. Iirc Aero wipers came standard from sort of '53 on, the no. Plate plinth became plastic and a bunch of...
Yeah TPS charged me £31 +vat. No bulbs/lenses in it though...They were about £8 each
Believe there is a metal type and a plastic type of plinth and apparently the plastic one is significantly dearer too??
Hiya Paul,
Yeah that was per side. TPS Liverpool have quoted me £132+vat each but that's pretty much the same price as Stoke Audi give or take.
I've heard it all now! It's great isn't it? All the bogus excuses they give to different people at different times of the day. Mileage too high...
Same thing. I had another pop at Stafford Audi while she was in for servicing last month. Came back with the same ***** "not warranty due to lack of maintenance, possibly a chip, or something not being touched in and remedied soon enough causing corrosion". Made me so angry...It really...
That's interesting, mine's also the sport with grey (buffalino) leather and S-line badges, thought the badges were an add-on tbh as I didn't think they made an S-line on an '03.
Always wondered about those badges and whether my car actually came like that from new or if the badges were fitted...
S-Line aside... The seats are different on the B6 Sport, you have the extendable thigh support and slightly more 'wraparound' seat bolsters with the sport seats compared to the SE. Steering wheel is different as well I think on the Sport. As previously mentioned, the Sport runs lower...
