    Members please help

I feel for you on the prolapsed disc front, mine is L3-L4, well on the mend after about a year but I would think twice before attempting the battery change, it is too centrally placed, probably why the A5 cab has the battery in the boot now.

Heated seat (cheap option) B6 Cab

My rear seat installation was extra cheap because I only used one kit spread across the seat base, there is no heat in the seatback, but it is still very effective.

Heated seat (cheap option) B6 Cab

I have factory heated seats in the front, but the kids were a bit left out, so I fitted one of these kits to the rear seat of my cab, works great and the switch is very discreet. Be warned you need to be sitting on it to feel it properly heating up.

What's the rarest option to be fitted to a cabriolet

Mine has heated rear seats, but only because I fitted it myself, the kids love it.

Is the a4 glove box the same as cab

Just did a 2500km southern europe holiday round trip, the glovebox fridge came in very handy. I use econ mode when it is cold out, which is when I don't feel the need for very cold drinks, so not a problem. I can confirm there is only a cold feed to the fridge, so things are always cool-ish in...

What have you done to your A4 b6 today?

Totally sounds like a wheel bearing to me. I need to do the third one in a less than 2 years of ownwership on mine, quality is obviously sh*te. Long fast bends are where I hear mine most, if it complains more when turning left then it will be a problem on the right hand side and vice versa. I...

    Vibration and humming sound

Take 2 long fast bends- 50mph or more and left and right hander, if your problem lessens as you straighten up then it is definitely a wheel bearing. Next you have to find whether it is front or back..... Wheel bearings on A4s seem to be Sh*te, I have changed 2 so far and need a 3rd one doing now.

Why are B6s so greedy with bulbs?

You think that is normal? I am new-ish to Audi, but I can't have changed more than 2 bulbs in 10 years on my old Alfa 156, the audi on the other hand......

HELP - oil leak and pressure in cam cover case

I fixed my minor oil leak by replacing the PCV vent breather valve, I tried cleaning it first but that didn't work. Replacement cost £15 and took 5 minutes to fit ( luckily the breather hoses were not brittle ) I did this after reading this-...

Might be time to sell my cab.... :(

I have 2 kids (10&13yrs old) and a cab, it's perfectly do-able, it has more space in the boot than many hatchbacks, particularly if you use the space left over in the spare wheel well. ( I have a skinny spare ). If you have very young kids, I would recommend not buying a totally un-necessary...

    b6 3.0 quattro mpg?

I usually get 30 mpg on a long run at a consistent (and legal) 130 kph (80.7mph) on French motorways, slightly better at 70mph. Not convinced an S4 will do the same! Around town is not good mind, more like 20mpg.

A4 B6 Cab - some info needed about headlamps.

Definitely worth a try with some epoxy resin if you still have the tabs. It's not as if they are under huge strain if fitted right. I have had good results re-enforcing an epoxy resin repair with wire or metal angles glued on at the same time.

A4 B6 Cab - some info needed about headlamps.

Depends if you have factory xenons. Luckily for me my UK car came with factory fitted xenons with the switch to change the beam pattern to suit UK or continental driving, which has worked fine for me for MOT or controle technique tests on both sides of the channel.
