Hi Steve,
It must be ET: 54 then lol sorry I just typed it in to google and a similar alloy said et 43 so I thought it must be correct. Apologies
Yes sure let me know thanks
They’re Jinyu as stated above.
No they were brand new tyres, you can get brand new Continentals for £80 if you shop around so £40 for a lower brand tyre isn’t unbelievable?
Jinyu, they were approx £40 a tyre, and I only had them on a few weeks before I sold the car and took the alloys off.
So there’s £160 worth of tyres on those wheels meaning the alloys themselves I’m selling for approx £300 which is a bargain! :)
Genuine set of Ronal Style 18" Wheels, 5x112, 225/40/18. Have taken pics of all wheel part numbers to prove authenticity.
All have been professionally sand blasted to give a slightly darker colour. All with genuine centre caps and over 6mm tread on each tyre!
No buckled wheels, all straight...
Hi,
Thank you for the reply,
There was a letter sent saying it needs a emission recall. But a lot of people saying they had problems after getting it done so it’s putting me off lol
I’ve got it booked in with an Audi specialist, I’m hoping it’s just a noisy alternator pulley
Hi everyone,
Was wondering if anyone can shed some light on a new sound which has appeared on my sisters A1 13 plate, 1.6 diesel, manual with 55k on the clock.
I’ve posted on the A1 Forum, however i don’t think there’s as much people on there as there is here so thought I’d give it a try here...
Hi everyone,

It’s hard to describe the sound so I’ve made a little recording:

Thank you in advance everyone.
I think there's loads of things that can cause the hot start issue from what I've read. I've got the 1.9tdi so not sure if it's any different between the two. But the majority of people come to the conclusion that a new starter motor usually fixes the problem indefinitely. Apparently it's...
I had the hot start issue as well as a cold starting problem. The cold starting problem turned out to be my battery, got that changed and everything seems fine so far - thank God.
But I'll have to see if my hot start issue comes back in summer. A lot of people say the hot start issue is...
The exact same thing happened to my cousins BMW. The clutch pedal was sitting on the floor, turned out to be the master slave cylinder.
Edit: I just realised you're from Birmingham. I use a very good Vag specialist garage in Cannock called Midland VW, if you're unsure give them a ring and have...
I bought a battery for my A3 1.9tdi recently from Tayna Batteries. It arrived the next day (if you order before 4pm) and was packaged very well.
I got the Varta Silver - which is equivalent to the Bosch S5 - excellent battery. Comes with a 5 year guarantee. I paid in total £64 including...
From what I've heard the 1.4 TFSI still needs to revved quite high in order to get the power delivery. But I've never driven it myself so don't take my word for it lol

So what's the verdict on this guy? Yay or nay?
I've been speaking to a guy on Facebook that's done it on the Golf MK5 and he's saying it can be done on the A3 8P.
This seems like a good feature as long as it doesn't cause rubbing issues
