Inner cv is knackered according to the mechanic. Audi tell me you can't replace the inner cv joint, you have to replace the whole drive Shaft. I have no clue so have to take their word on it. Any recommendations for sourcing a cheaper option? Thanks

Hi, Can anyone help me here please? My garage advises me that the inner cv joint needs to be replaced but Audi Ireland say the whole drive shaft must be replaced at a cost €441.67 incl vat + fitting. Anyone know of a cheaper option please? 2003 A4 Avant, 130bhp 1.9tdi Auto Many thanks!
