Hi Jeff,
Mine is a vorsprung which means it has the sports exhaust while my Rs3 had the standard exhaust. Hard to compare between them as the soundaktor on the RS4 makes it sound as if its barking and rumbling a bit like the 5 pot. I am not sure if it actually sounds that way on the outside...
I made the change from a 2017 RS3 to a 2020 RS4 late last year. I went for the RS4 as I did not like the look and feel of the 8Y A3 and was not prepared to wait in the hope the RS version would be better. Unfortunately with lockdown I have not had as much opportunity to use the RS4 as I would...
Got the car and the plates I have had made up come with self adhesive pads so once the V5 comes through I will try it with the pads. Prefer to avoid drilling if I can.
Unfortunately not Sandra. I will need to run the car for a week or so before I can legally transfer my reg to it and as I live some 300 miles from the garage its not practical to return it to get it changed. The garage has said its straightforward but I hoped someone on here might have some...
Hoping to pick up a 2020 RS4 soon. I need to change the number plates and wonder if anyone can help with how to do this. I am not very mechanically minded so any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance
Another one for the list. While in for some engine work Audi report excessive inner edge wear on my front tyres. Car has only done 7300 miles. Will change the tyres once I get the car back but Audi Belfast then want to send the tyres to Pirelli. Did I read there a form and pro forma e mail here...
No I had only seen photos of the colour before collecting it from the dealer. To say I was nervous about the colour is an understatement but I am loving it :grinning:.
Nothing for the moment. Might eventually use the standard alloys as winter wheels and buy some additional for summer
My other RS3 was Lunar as well. To me it sets off the car very well. You will love the mica finish on yours. Its fantastic :grinning::grinning:
Thought it was a long time myself but the dealer says its due to the backlog at the port and with transportation. Can't do anything about it so might as well enjoy the wait. At least I still have my current RS3. Your wait will be worth it. Awesome colour you have chosen :grinning:
