Dorset may be just a little too far!! I changed from a 2014 S4 to an RS4 non DRC and the only real difference is that the ride in the RS is a bit more jiggly on some surfaces, definitely nothing to worry about though overall a very comfortable car.

Screwfix do one for £49.99 which looks exactly like the one I use and it has been fine. There are also some electric pumps around but I have not tried any.

I would rule out the E63 - not a lot of traction for most of the year as you said! that really leaves RS6/7 or M5 as much as I like my Audi the M5 is an amazing machine and can be bought at very a reasonable price. Good luck with your research :-)
