    Fan washer jet heads

Do you think that using these adapters 4F0 955 431 would help with the play on the old plenum chamber? I have found one video where a guy from czech republic has used them together with the non-heated passat jets, but it does not say if he had similar issues as you had. I know they are used with...

LED number plate lights for 2006 SB A3.

I'm afraid they don't. But just take the screw out and any local DIY shop will sell you a similir one. Or try asking in Audi if they don't happen to have some spare ones laying around the shop floor.

LED number plate lights for 2006 SB A3.

You want these 4H0 943 021 and 4H0 943 022 from A8 4H, I have them fitted in my A3 SB 2006 and they work like a charm. Only thing I needed to do was to bend the connecting plates outwards a little so they make proper contact with the socket, otherwise it was a straightforward job. You can order...

    Panoramic sunroof question.

It is definitely possible to do it with a remote. Try checking the VCDS settings once again according to this tutorial: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/wiki/comfort-window-function-with-vcds-key-fob-remote-operation/

    Rear shock absorber sleeve

Looks good, although I would firstly tighten the lower loop around the dust cover so it does not get loose and drop again. But as long as it holds up together all is good.:) I am glad I could help!

    Rear shock absorber sleeve

try parking the car the other way round and see if it is still the same. any cargo in the boot, seats? There is a lot of things that can affect the ride height. also the springs can be at fault not the shocks. If your ride is okay just try removing the wheel and see if the dust covers are still...

    Rear shock absorber sleeve

Have you actually removed the wheel? It may be dropped down and you don't see it now. It is just a plastic cylinder.

    Rear shock absorber sleeve

if your ride is bouncy than they are failing. Especially if you go over some bumps or uneven terrain and the car bounces around. you can check them by pushing the chassis towards the ground it should return back without bouncing. if it bounces they are bad.

    Rear shock absorber sleeve

If you have no experience in this field I would leave it to a professional. But honestly if your shocks are not new, I would wait for the shocks to start failing and replace the covers and shocks at the same time. Those plastic covers are there to protect the schools from the road dust. Tie up...

    Rear shock absorber sleeve

If your covers are gone completely you will need to dismantle the shocks so I would replace the rings as well. They are not very expensive. Mine were just dropped down and all I needed was to pull them back up and tie it up. The ring is aluminum so just some oxidation there, not corrosion. they...

    Rear shock absorber sleeve

the dust covers are fairly inexpensive, but if you have some zip ties laying around you can fix it in few minutes. honestly it took me longer to remove and install the wheel back than the fix itself.

    Changing S3 Drl Bulbs.

No need for resistors in your case. All you need to do is code the Bi-xenons with LED DRL in the central electrics by VCDS. After that the car will no longer throw an error when you use LED bulbs. Get some quality Cree bulbs though (Trups can be of assistance here), those cheapo SMD bulbs are...

    A3 Cruise control fit.

Firsrtly you need to undo 5 screws, three on the bottom holding the PCB and two on the top of the stalk. (I did not have a stalk with cruise with me, but there are few more screws on top I think and you need to undo the cruise stalk part cover first in order to be able to remove lights stalk...

    A3 Cruise control fit.

I am affraid it won't. Well it will work but not in the expected way according to the pictograms on the cruise stalk. It has to say B/D/F at the end of the p/n.To be honest to change the spacer element is not that big of a deal if you cant find other than F spec stalk. I can make a couple of...

    Question about MFSW

It has already been discussed previously here http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a3-s3-sportback-8p-chassis/145969-steering-control-module-discovery-mfsw.html so put your mind at ease and carry on with a retrofit :) As Ash has said the E model has been replaced with F model, so if you are after new...

Hey! Wanting to buy my first audi but want to know if this is worth it?

Don't settle with a first car that you find. Those extras you would like to fit later might cost you more than if you had waited for a model that already has them. Keep looking and you will find one eventually. regarding the mileage you can't expect for a 10 years old car to have 70 000 miles on...

    Switched live from Concert II+?

Taping into the stereo connector is not a good idea. It will not work as these newer stereos are connected to a permanent live feed and are switched on by signal wire from CAN BUS (that's why you are able to switch on the stereo without a key in your ignition I presume). You want to feed your...
