Mine was cracked mate. Got a replacement from autodoc, meant to be for s3, wasn't, only noticed recently, have tyre rub on inner arch, measured to confirm, new steering knuckle isn't the same as the nearside one.

Having trouble with the parts database, could anyone confirm if s3 and tt knuckles are the same? Seems to be easier to find tt ones. Cheers

Can anyone confirm that a3 and s3 front wings are the same, except the bottom part of the wing? Mine are shot, but I'm not bad at welding, I'd give swapping the bottom parts a go, if someone can please confirm. Cheers folks

Since I'm pretty sure my turbo seals are on their way out, I'm planning getting a new core (hoping to see no cracks in the housing), wondering what exhaust manifold options there are? Port chinafold seems best option. Don't want to spend more than 500 bangers, welds on relentless look like a kid...

The quality compared to the old one is brilliant :) It looked sound enough to me, but I'm no mechanic. Fitted well, does the job and miles cheaper than audi

There's a bar on the s3, bellow the subframe, which bolts to it. Must be for rigidity, I'm sure someone will know for sure

Hi mate, this is where I got mine from https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203306233978 Only issue, the brace on the bottom of the subframe doesn't fit. Bought inserts from audi, still wouldn't fit

New rack, ecp gave me the wrong inner rods, had to reuse the old ones.

Can anyone recommend a supplier of recon steering racks for a mk1 s3 , mine decided after fitting a new subframe to give up. Lack of use probably ruined seals?

Think I need to try and strip the plastic hatch cover off, not sure it can be done with the hatch closed lol

Nah, I can't turn the key, it's in the horizontal position, if it was upright, that would work. Cheers though mate

I've been stupid, managed to break the plastic spare key in the boot lock cylinder. Cylinder was stuck from not being used for a couple of years. Thought the plastic key would be a good idea, until it snapped. Now can't get the fkn thing out lol. Any ideas folks? It's in the locked position...
