Yeah I read those, unfortunately it doesn't really answer what I was asking... I know what the modes do, i'm just wondering why "Eco" or "Efficiency" mode is missing from my selection, when many others seem to have it.

Apparently the 1.2 costs £300 more to insure than the 2.0 tfsi quattro Got quoted by admiral £1064 on it, despite me being quoted £700 for the 2.0 a few weeks back because the 1.2 wasn't showing on system and needed a reg number. Wtf is going on? Any suggestions?
