I may have the same problem. Had head gasket skimmed and it still overheats. How much did a new engine cost and getting it fitted? Any tips on finding an engine? Do you know why these 1.6 fsi have overheating issues, I wonder if thers any preventive ideas to stop this happening in future? Thanks
