It will be because the voltage has dropped below the minimum threshold for it to operate. This will always happen to a car not used very much. I would recommend a trickle charger to stop the battery inevitably deteriorating to a point where replacement is the only option.
If they had been the Audi Macclesfield of 9 years ago, I would have ordered my RS3 there and be using them for all my servicing. Won’t go near them now. Really seem to have let things slip.
My last Audi (my S3) came from Macclesfield from new in 2014. At that time they were excellent and I always went back to the same dealership for all work until I parted with the car last year. Post pandemic I also noticed things going downhill and a lot of unnecessary waiting around for while...
Had mine done this morning. Successfully eliminated any of the car wash squad with their Brillo pads with strict instructions and signs all over the car and they took it straight in. Only there 5mins……all good. Guy said they haven’t seen one wrong as yet. Tick in the box from them and another...
This morning at 06:42 my Apple Watch buzzed on my wrist with a warning from the Audi App that the Internal Alarm for my RS3 had been activated. Checked car which was safely locked up in my garage. Opened and re-locked but still had to ‘Reset Alarm’ in the app. No idea whether the alarm had...
Mine comes on every time I start the car. Have to hold the button every time to switch it off as I hate it. Bit confused how it wasn’t working for 2 months.
I’ll be vague about the location, but was walking my dogs (somewhere in East Cheshire) and there was an identical Merlin Purple Saloon (bar Ceramics) waiting to pull out of a petrol station. Took a double take as thought it was mine!! Had to wave at the passenger window and say hi. Still shocked...
Ok, thanks. So let me rephrase the question…….has anyone found it not to be locked down? Not had a chance to look at mine yet as it’s in the garage and I need to get it out to access.
Had the recall notice, despite Warrington Audi check saying no recalls. Can’t get it into Crewe Audi until early November for a while I wait booking. Also had to fight my way through their complimentary wash offer……..those signs will be plastered all over the car again! Does anyone on here know...
I don’t understand why dealerships can’t understand why customers do not want a car wash. Drives me insane, along with a bit of anxiety, despite the numerous notices I put all over the car. Hate it.
Apparently the recall is for models manufactured between 2019 and 2023. Not had anything for mine yet……checked on here and it says no recalls found, so perhaps not everyone - https://www.audiwarrington.com/check-vehicle-for-recalls.htm
Not really but it happens now and again. I am of an age where I know I have nothing to prove and it always makes me laugh to myself how ridiculous these idiots (most who can’t drive very well) look. I’ll happily drive with enthusiasm where and when it is safe and have no intention of falling the...
100% agree about the heavy rain effect. First time it was very disconcerting and I actually thought I had a brake problem. Something to be aware of which isn’t a major issue once you are used to them.
You really need to have a test drive and go from there. You’ll be waiting forever for a facelift, if and when it gets announced, so would advise to get one now if that’s what you want. Just got back from a nice blast in mine today and was thinking about this thread and how much I love my RS3...
You’re overthinking this. Take a test drive and if you like it, buy it. I’ve got ceramics on mine……don’t need them but no brake dust is a wonderful thing! As for the diamond cut wheels on the Vorsprung, be careful. As for the round steering wheel, yes it sucks but if it bothers you that much you...
