This sounds like a worn aux belt to me also. My crec engine started the same squeeking last year, just a belt showing signs of wear for me. Water test is a good one as already mentioned :) if you open the bonnet you can see the belts at the front, easy to look for shiny worn belts visually.

Audi do fixed price clutch replacement, they quoted me something like 600, but think the DMF was more a tiny bit more on top.. Still very cheap for main stealer, you can always call for prices so you are armed :) but I had a local place do it and I just sourced the DMF, clutch etc.. so was less...
