Best way to remove bird **** stains?

As Rob says, plus T-cut will leave swirls as it is not a de-generating cutting compound, so using it will make the problem worse not better

Best way to remove bird **** stains?

Try Menzerna SF4000, its a fine degrading polish so only a mild cut that degrades into leaving a polished finish with no scratching. Although in all honesty it depends how much the acid from the bird muck has eaten into the paintwork, it may well need a DA on it as Rob and Gaz say above

Auto finesse iron out contaminate remover

Absolute top stuff, great for getting "stubborn" brake dust off your alloys too - although since Bilt Hamber bought out their wheel cleaner I've been a BIG fan of that.

    Servicing courtesy wash

The question I'd ask you is if you would use the same washing up water and cloth all day to do your washing up. No. So unless you want swirls all over your paintwork, tell them not to wash it. I won't let them wash mine. If on the other hand swirls don't worry you - go right ahead!

How do you treat/protect your new cars paint?

I used to go for the complete detailing package on new cars but now don't bother - reason being that whatever you apply is still going to get contaminated in one way or another, and whilst it may last 7 years, the finish after that time won't be great (IMO). in fact you'll need to get it...

Is it safe to wax without claying/alternatives?

Should be OK, but give it a good wash and dry first. I only clay mine twice a year and if it's been garaged then little chance of contaminants in the paint After waxing, suggest applying a sealant - something like Menzerna Power Lock Polymer sealant is very good, had excellent results using that.

How to look after a new car

Trust me get the nozzle of a jet wash close enough and they can take paint off - won't always but can - in the same way that if using to clean out wheel arches they can damage rubber brake hoses etc. Had in happen to me a few years ago on the Alfa I had then. What I'm saying is don't get the...

How to look after a new car

Underseal it? Absolutely not. No need to Brush washes are an absolute no-no IMO, unless you want to scratch the heck out of your paintwork. Pressure washes, you have to know what you are about, else you could take the paint right off. In your case, given you seem not to know (fair enough, not...

    Wow waterless washing.....

I 150% agree with the above comments about scratching etc (and to be fair they do mention about turning the microfiber cloth in the video). The only thing which makes me wonder on this is that Chemical Guys is a respected name in the detailing business - would they really risk their reputation...

    Detailer

You'd be best asking that on www.detailingworld.co.uk. Any detailer who is anybody is on there and you have quite a choice in the Midlands.

    Horrendous Tar

Personally I use the Turtle Wax tar remover, spray on, leave for a few minutes and then wipe off. Works just as well as Auto Glym, Auto Finesse and some of the other tar removers (IMO), but not as expensive. The trick is though to spray on an leave for a few minutes else it doesn't work as well...

Driving in grit salt-how bad ?

Take it to a detailing company close to you, explain what you are intending and get them to treat and seal the bodywork, not overly expensive and your car will shine afterwards. Plenty to be found on Detailing World. As others have said your car won't be ruined by your trip, but if you prepare...
