    A3 rear washer fix

    The strut brace is easy to remove, I removed the 3 nuts on the passenger side completely and just loosened the drivers side enough to lift the strut brace out of the way. It only takes an extra minute.

    I had this the other week on my S3, it was in the same place. The only "extra" task I had to do was remove the strut brace as it stops you removing the cover piece

    I've got the same problem. I've saved up some cash to do some work on my house - only to find out my car needs the following Full service (600miles to go) Cambelt change New dashboard - the text on the display goes all funny after an hour or so :think:

    Boot Light Coming Up On The DIS

    It sounds like a fault with the rear lock. It has the same fault as the main doors - in the lock there is a small switch that tells the ecu that the boot is shut. I think your switch must be going faulty

    I had mintex xtreme and they squeaked all the time... Plus I found that 3 of the pads suffered cracks after getting very hot...

    Yeah - Turn it off. I found it was the only way I could get out of corners, on a trackday at croft, with any speed the other week. :blackrs4:

    Was'nt this the recall where the rear ball joint fails and the rear wheels drop up into the bodywork? I think this was the same recall on the TT
