    if you leave your indicator on and remove the keys it will beep Probably 1st time you had your indicator on, 2nd time you didnt. At a guess anyway :)

    Seriously, If that was my car, the chrome would be off quicker than a whores draws. However, it isn't, so fairplay. With only a few minutes work, you have managed to make your car look like a pound shop special.

    Refurbed alloys and new tyres :).

    I pay £30 a wheel for refurbing. That is powdercoated. However, you do have to take the wheel in to them with no tyre. So by the time you give a friendly tyre fitter a drink to remove and then fit your tyre and balance later, all in all about £35 per corner. It is a lot of hassle...

    Totally agree with you get what you pay for. Painting can be done cheaply, with corners cut, quite easily to lower the price. But it wont be as good a job. I use a body shop 2 doors down from where I work. I know them very well, and they help me out with my car. Even at mates rate's...
