Anyone know the wieght of the S4 saloon and Avant?

My mate is about to take his S4 for it's 80K service. Is there anything that can be done to reduce the cost, ie supplying the parts yourself? What sort of cost have poeple found their service to cost, apparently it needs a cambelt change too? What spec Oil is needed in an S4? ANy help would be...

I was wondering if anybody knew if the new shape S4 seats (recaros) would fit in an old shape S4? Would really like the recaros! Would the back seats fit also? Cheers,

My un-modified S3 will get 31-32 mpg easily on motorway driving, I got 34mpg!! (according to the trip computer, which is normally optimistic by about 1 mpg) and that was just cruising between 90 and 100, occassionally dropping a gear to overtake etc. So well happy with that! Normal everyday...
