    Is the floor on the passengers side wet/damp? the convenience control module might be getting wet. Also if you hold the open button on your key the windows will open, they might have been pressed in your pocket?

    They give the exhaust a better/louder sound when open, some people cable tie them open because they don't open when the car is stopped or somehting similar. I take it the manuals don't have a sport button so it must open after a certain rpm.

    Yeah the tax would be above €1500, with the S3 €580 ish. Blanc have you registered on vagdrivers.net yet? It;s an irish forum and I know there are at least two irish reg'd S4 for sale there and one S3.
