You say the EGR didn't stick as much....in you sig it says "EGR Delete" I have nothing but bad news about terraclean, especially on high mileage cars. My advice: Don't bother!

Even when I was a teenager I thought r1 was utter trash. Nothing to do with age in my case. Same cd on repeat all day, with a bit of giggling in between.

Bought a Signum 150 cdti now. Was less than half price and very economical. With a decent remap will be 190-200 bhp anyway. Quite surprised how good it is.

After travelling 3 hours on thurday afternoon to view a 2003 2.5TDI B6 Q Avant which I had seen on internet, After asking seller if there are any problems with car, response was other than the damage to 2 doors (which was visable on pics) the car is ok. So a quick scan and this is what I found...

All the gadgets, but not heated leather and no xenons. Strange!! Other than that as said good spec. Picking up my B6 tomorrow hopefully

Older v6 tdi will not need a map change, but newer ones will need the map changing. My 2001 didn't need it.

I've bypassed it on mine, but I the a6 you have to short it to earth to get the light out. Or renew the loom.

Who remapped it? Even my 155bhp made over 190 on the dyno with stock turbo/nozzles.

I had the oil filter I ring leak too, new filter and oil change of course, all done!

Euro Car parts, i would get a genuine thermostat, make sure you also change belt tensioner. All together comes to about £300 in parts if memory serves me correctly......

I bought aero wipers from Motor Parts Direct for about £20, not the complete arm and blade kit but does the job! regarding decat, as Adamss said, will be more responsive and I get a more pronounced turbo whistle, not loud but you can hear it working.

I removed completely and put blank plates on ex manifold and in manifold and removed vacuum actuator & hoses. And of course mapped out! Bit fiddly to get to bolts on exhaust mind you, loads of room in the V now.

Panel filter, both cats removed and custom remap by Zaviz International. Complete EGR deletion
