AFter lots of messing i finally got the Harman Kardon HARD wired into the AUdi. All you need is the unit and a connect2 lead unsure what model though, and u can happily connect this to the concert headunit choose cd changr then revert back to the harman Kardon FAR SUPERIOR selector basiclaly...

Did you fix it. I had this yest got the dension one, and both ipods show disconnected now , i scrapped that and now even the Harman wont see the ipods, although they work fine everywhere else. :/

i had the guy to fit the audi one in and he instead hard wired my Harman Kardon. The only issue now is sonce the dension was used both myIpod although work as a walkman will not connect to the system they just say disconnected. ive tried my m8s and its fine :( done hard resets allsort but...

easy to fit ? ie does it just work no updateing software like the dension etc ?

ok after 4hrs and several phone calls ive sent it back Total junk. My cars 2 weeks old and incompatible with the dension . If you gonna buy one and have a brand new car just get the audi 1 at 175 and spend the extra, the dension is total junk, phoned 3 Car stereo fitters and all commented...

Trying to fit the Dension IPOD link managed ti find it easy enough apart from when i connect my IPOD it just gives me the disconnect symbol. Has anybody had to update the dension software, the guys i bought it from have told me to just connect the small dension unit to my ipod run this update...

Had the Harmon Kardon fit 2 weeks ago, in my 2 week old a4, problem is the 06 hasnt had any leads developed for it yet to connect the unit directly to the concert headunit so you have to USE the FM option, which in all honesty yeah it works but its crap, cos it uses FM u loose the bass etc, But...

yeah we have 4 audis at work 2 without 2 with , its deffo an upgrade you need if your sticking with the standard Audi stereo, sounds 10 times better. But as for aftermarket no ideas but prob better still, just alot of speakers to change :/

OK thanks again for that link, Unfirtunately the 06 is diff than the 05 and connect2 said they are developing one for the new 06, so at present i cant hard wire it Unless anybody else has managed this on an 06 i presume most of us are using the fm.

Guys had the Harman fit the other day, all nice and neat, But as im in an o6 a4 we had to use the FM option, of which im not a fan, u get interferance plus its doesnt sound like i want it. Ive looked and im told there is a 3rd part CD changer lead u can get for this unitso it basically hooks...

Get my new 06 sline next Tues, and just wodering which i should get to fit my Black 30gig ipod to. Been hearing alot about the HK one and it does look cool, but prob will need a professional fit > Anybody got any pro n cons to each ? thanks
