The standard 2.0tfsi is fine without Quattro. I've owened a Golf GTD which spun like a beast with the torque going through the front wheels driven hard
I bought a 06 plate 2.0 tfsi Sline A3 last year. It's used as a fun car, as I missed my mk6 golfGTI. It's done 43 thousand miles now and hasn't cost me anything. I had it serviced, cam belt and water pump done when I got it and it's been flawless. I actually prefer it to the more modern GTI
I have a 2006 2.0Tfsi S-Line SE. Mizano red with 41000 on the clock. As above it tells you on the log book what it is. My understanding also as above, full leather, vanity mirror lights and the dodgy rear sun screen! Also they where a little bit cheaper.
I owned the same engine in a 2008 Vw golf GT Sport, then the newer common rail version in a 2010 VW golf GTD and never had any problems with them. Cracking motors, but with the milage you do you would probable be better off with petrol Audi.
Bought myself a 2006 A3 2.0t S-line Special Edition, misano red 38000. Bought as a run about as my daily drive is a 2014 Golf GTI. My Question is, the lacquer is pealing in loads of places. Is that normal? Sorry My name Is Barney and look forward to your help
