    There are thousands of sizes and pitches of Helicoil available, their main application is inserts into soft materials such as plastics, polycarbonates and soft alloys. As long as you have the correct insertion tap and the corresponding screw/bolt the sky is the limit application wise.

    Personaly I do not like them, they look way to big for the car but its your car at the end of the day so you do what you feel is best.

    I believe that Pagid are OE spec, so you'll have no issues. Some one please correct me if I am mistaken.

    total weight saving of about 600 grams, personally don't think it's worth it .... Better option that'll save you more weight is go to the toilet before you go for a drive :)
