    under ur engine cover on the right hand side you will see the fuel pressure regulator sensor make sure that isn't broken as ive had a few of them that brake this could be the problem

    sounds to me like the alarm siren has given up this is a common fault although somethink must be setting the alarm off so worth getting it scanned to see whats setting the alarm off

    maybe somet may have broken in the head and now has become jammed? sounds to me like the engine is on its way out? you need to start stripping if it re-appears? i've had the chain that drives the oil pump before become slack and sounds like a metal slapping noise
