Funny old thing, I can and do use myAudi app to look up any address and send it to the car from my Samsung S10+. It works perfectly and is blindingly quick. This is my preferred method and it only takes a couple of seconds to see it in the car. However, I cannot operate the other way round...

There used to be a problem with oil consumption on the earlier 2.0 TFSI engines. Not sure if it is relevant on the later 16 plate Q5s. I suspect the problems were solved by this stage of the game. Somebody else with far superior knowledge on this one will be along soon to give you an update.

My dash cam setup allows me to instal a MicroSD card up to at least 256gb. Eventually I found a photographic outlet on line and purchased a Delkin V30 128gb card. Great savings over the normal places.

I am sure I read somewhere that adaptive xenons default to straight ahead if there is a fault on one of them. Suggest at least a discussion with a dealer.

Looks like the best advice is specify the space saver when making the order for a new car. Otherwise as in my case the car was an ex dealer management car the price is too prohibitive to purchase and retrofit. The money is best spent on calling out the emergency services. So I have been advised.
