Nice one. Haven't considered using anything else for the results achieved at a very reasonable price don't think I need to. The spare money can go on polishes, waxes and microfibers.
2 bucket method. Jet wash a panel at a time starting with the top half of the car going round once. Then replace suds and repeat for the bottom half of the car. Obviously wheels are done first. Use fast glass for the windows. Megs next gen all metal polish paste for the exhausts and megs tyre...
Joking and winking a side...this is all I used and I'm being deadly serious. Mightily impressive results for something I picked up in a supermarket and the car hasn't been waxed or polished since the end of last summer. I tend to use a generous amount in the bucket and use it regularly. Plus...

Thanks Chall! Wax then sealant yeah? Any need to clay the car or leave that for my pro detailer in spring as no doubt he'll do that in the correction process?
Thanks again for your advice. :-D
Is he a professional detailer or glamorised valeter? That looks painful! It'll be interesting to see how this is rectified. Keep up posted. Feel for you a) because R8's aren't cheap and b)because you said he was a friend of yours which makes it very awkward
