Also do get that finish how many passes of the 85 and 106 do you do and at what speed? Sorry for the Q's just curious, as I just can't seem to get rid of my swirls. I use...

    Need some products

Can't comment on those wash products; i normally use this which lathers up real good and does cut the grime and dirt very well. On the Werkstat stuff I can't comment, only know of Polished Bliss who sell it. At some point I will be getting it as I have heard of some real good reports of it on...

    machine polisher

You would also have to buy a transformer (not optimus prime) 110-240v (£10-40) plus you either have to buy the authorised cable (£20) or chop off the US plug and fit one on (<£5). So for the same money ish you could get a Megs G220 DA (£150ish) with UK Mains plug

    2008 ARDENT RED LOTUS EXIGE

Honestly it really is impressive what you are able to attain, the 50:50 shot really does show the amazing difference! Question; there are some nice cuved edges and edges along the car and with the boot lip how do polish those? Do you go along the line/edge or do you go up and over the edge/line?

    Clay Bar Guide

I believe the main thing is to have lots of lube so that the claybar can glide nicely over it. I think the problem I have occassionaly is that the clay catches the non-lubed paintwork and pulls some crap across it leaving some marring.

    Clay Bar Guide

Yeah a lot of good info in that, check out the the detailuniversity.com site for some more!! On the Clay, I've use the Megs Quik Clay mainly outside as afterwards you can give it another rinse down before you get on with the polish, though in some cases I skip and go straight onto the...

Thank you, nicely explained and some nice shots taken there. One question this: Griots Garage clay and their Speed Shine lube Is it an agressive clay - was there excessive marring caused?? Only you say you used it on both the wheels and the bodywork itself? Making me think it is an...

I want exhaust pipes I can eat my dinner off

Personally I use AutoSol and find it to cut through the soot and crap very well it also does a good job of polishing it up mirrorlike. To be hardcore I recall in some of WX51 post's that a Dremmel is used on them.
