    Tt roadster back glass

Anyone got the dummies guide to cleaning the rear window in a tt roadster? On my a4 cabriolet i can half close roof to get easy access to clean but tt seems to offer no access? I must be missing a trick?

    Nice weather, cleaning the car...

I did but suppose i dint use enough shampoo/soap stuff. Really left a mess, as i say, I'll use a bar of proper clay in future, not worth it.

    Nice weather, cleaning the car...

I got one of them clay mitts to do daughter and sons cars and didn't rate at all. I mustn't have used enough lube maybe because it left some proper stubborn marks, looked and felt like bits of the actual clay had smeared and stuck to paintwork. Never happened when i used a bar so I'm not giving...

    Servicing courtesy wash

Yep watched, hardly trashed was it though? You need to be proper looking at daft angles with lights to see these minor "flaws". I think that the chap who posted about that "anal" aspect has a point that's all I'm saying, these wild stories of cars being delivered looking like they've had...

    New Car 'Paint Protection'

I don't reckon I'd part with £600+ for someone to put a coat of protection on a car. In truth I'd just make sure i washed myself with care taken and apply wax. I just don't see how £620 can be value for money, does it mean you can throw the car through mechanical drive thru washes and if not...

    Servicing courtesy wash

Not having it that they are caused by a single wash at dealers after delivery. I've had cars in the past that i have never washed myself, either been through, what I'd assume is the worst minor scratch provider, drive thru wash or a side road hand wash place and have had similar amount of...

    Servicing courtesy wash

I enjoy cleaning the wagon and all that but feel inclined to agree with jassyo06 on this one. Some of the pics on this forum that folk attribute to a clean from a dealerships' YTS lad don't ring true. The pics always show swirls that are no way caused by a single wash from a kid in a garage.

    A few jobs done

I'd get this thread binned off and not mention that I'd attacked with a DA machine myself to clear up their factorys' **** up! They are bound to say you've had some input to the state of of paintwork with your hobbyists attempt at detailing. Not trying to sound nasty or owt chief, just reckon...

    New year new gear

Any clay should do i reckon pal, so long as well lubricated and dont rub heavily, two fingers and let the clay pick the stuff up as it goes, no need for elbow grease with clay :)
