Preparation work on new car prior to applying Gtechniq

Probably too late, but don't let the dealer clean or use polish on the car as any residue will increase the chances that the Serum Light wont adhere as well as it should. Always use an iron decontaminate on the paint. Think it's not needed? See the picture of my new car after using some....

    Wheel Cleaner That Works

Try using Mukoff, it wont affect plated fasteners and calipers like most wheel cleaners, it wont take the gloss off the paint either. Put it in a hand sprayer and spray the wheels, let it soak in and then agitate with a good quality wheel cleaning brush. The trick is to do it little and often...

    Dealership Prep

A few years back I got a new R32 after a 10 month wait. I always ask the dealer not to clean it. When I got it home and started to try and clean it I found the paint work contaminated with tiny brown specs which I could not remove. After a six week haggle and contact with the UK VAG group...

    Who recommended Citrus pre-wash?

I have the data, CPW has a pH of 8.5 It is classed as wax safe "so will not completely strip your vehicle of its wax finish". That's at their recommended dilutions, as I notice some of you use a higher concentration. But it will strip some wax each time you use it. If you're concerned about...

I use snow foam........ pH Neutral Snow Foam is our best selling product and for good reason. It is one of the only safe pre-wash solutions on the market. ValetPRO's pH Neutral Snow Foam is used by countless enthusiasts as a pre-cleaning agent prior to shampooing because it's a neutral, safe...

Not an Audi, but my wife's Mini Cooper. Has Nanolex Si3D on it. I did when it was new and must admit to being megga impressed. No loss of beading at all and the dirt just doesn't stick to it. Water just runs off.
