Well I’m thinking say it’s been driven really hard for those few hours. Then you get it back, a week later something fails on the engine or gearbox. Could that be related to how it was driven when stolen.
Out of interest, say it’s stolen and has been driven like it’s been stolen, what happens? How do you know they haven’t damaged anything when you get it back?
If the chain isn’t causing problems then don’t replace it. It’s not like a belt, they very rarely snap due to wear. Almost always lose tension first so you’d know there is an issue.
As said, make sure you change gearbox oil. I’d want brake fluid doing too.
Diff oil doesn’t need maintenance.
It may not be the main concern but it’s something to look at despite how inaccurate it is.
I’ve got a Quattro which will be worse on diesel and I average 40 around town then low 50s on a run.
For a decent set of Osram or Phillips bulbs you’re looking at £90 - £150. As suggested you should replace in pairs but only if you’re keeping the car. If you’re getting rid soon then consider a cheap one from eBay.
How long are you leaving the phone connected before you look at the call log. When I get in on a morning the phone connects straight away but the call log and phone book takes about 20-30 seconds to load. While it's loading the options stay greyed out.
I know what you mean but in defence I have to say that website just doesn't load on my phone. I'm on an iPhone but I don't know if others are the same. I had to dig out the laptop to buy it.
