    Don't use the mmi to gauge oil level. They are very hit and miss. Go by your dipstick . If you haven't got one , it's not expensive to get one .

    Xenon bulbs are very expensive £80 plus each. You can get cheap one's on eBay and fit yourself. But you get what you pay for.

    I would try Fuchs Titan fully synthetic . I've heard good things about them.

    Have you been using your car to clean your garden. That's shocking. It takes seconds to change the filter. Recommended oil for the 3.0 is 5w 30. I started to use 5w 40 due to a bit of oil consumption, but I will be going back to the 5w 30 as there has been no change.

    If you can keep an RS locked away to prevent theft then the answer is easy. A friend had an RS7 for 6 months. He couldn't get it through his garage door and a thieving xxxxxxd try to nick it . He now runs an A8 3.0 tdi. If you go for the S5 you will always kick yourself when you see another RS5.
