2010 2.0tdi cr 170
OK so couple things I wanted to know before I part with my cash
Does the thermostat come complete with the housing or can the old housing be used with a new thermostat
Does the tensioner pulley come as a complete unit or can the pulley just be changed. I noticed the idler...
Car runs same as before. Just drinks like a v8 now.
But surely part of the software update procedure should be to check the health of the car prior to making changes like that.
Yea that maybe something to look at. But literally went from what I'm used to the absolute garbage when I picked it up from audi. Only had it done 28th of November and burnt through a tank and a half already. Averaging 35mpg on the motorway where as before was around 50 to 52. Wish didn't get...
Hi all
No doubt this has been covered but can't find much on it.
As the owner of a 2.0tdi 170 quattro was pretty disappointed with the fuel economy before the update. But it seems since the update I'm struggling to even get close to 300miles. typically 250-270 miles on a tank even with...
Can someone tell me the specs for the common rail pressures. There's a rapid fluctuation during rough idle compared to smooth idle. Wondering if it's an issue with the fuel pressure regulator.
Ok so Eml has come on now. Hp Pumps getting louder. Will get codes off and see what they say. Was hoping there's a common rail guru in here. Doesn't seem to be much info on the cr engines online at all only stuff regarding the older pd engines
Cars a 2.0tdi cr 170 2010.
It seems to be getting worse lately. Looked on the net but can't find anything that seems the same.
Started with judder when pulling away
Then an occasional slight wobble on idle that would just stop after a short time
Now it wobbles on idle almost all the time...
I know that's what I thought but I've had that checked out and it's fine. Although the wear is less on the B8 compared to the B6 I had. Just seem to wear quicker on the outside edges than anywhere else. Literally the fist inch of the outside goes bold before the rest wears to the indicators...
Having owned 2 a4 quattro's it seems they eat the outside edges of the front tyres
I was wondering if anyone's found a tyre that performs best against this.
Have 255 35 19s
Thanks
Yea I'll give it ago. Just wondered if someone had been there done it got the t shirt and it stayed successfully repaired. Or if a new glovebox is the only achievable option.
Hi anyone experienced the bracket on the glove box hinge snap off that connects it to the damper? I've not had it apart yet but is it an easy fix or a pain and dent to the wallet. Obviously the glove box light won't work without it attatched.
Cheers
OK so kinda normal then. Wish done a bit of research on the economy. Didn't think be that bad tbh. May have to look at a remap. Rather more poke for the same economy haha
Brought this car in November and so far the mpg is really disappointing for a diesel
Averaging 27 over 1300miles on the dis
Averaging 360-380miles a tank.
Hardly do motorway and dual carriageway.
This normal because that's a fair way off what audi claim. longer journeys it's great though...
