I like 4D and gel plates, got a set of gel plates for mine. Tinting however, I dislike. I just don’t see the point, I’ve got a few friends on their “last plate warning” for running tinted plates. But if you like it and can get away with it, go for it.

Do you have a multimeter? When the engine is off the voltage should be between 12 and 13v depending on age/condition, when running you should see well over 13v over the battery, I’d guess this may not be the case if the light is on. Not sure on the PD130 but some alternators also have a smaller...
