If it's actually the cornering lights or whatever they're called, then I'm pretty sure the newer SEAT's have them too.... and VWs? I reckon it's more of a safety thing too as it alerts other drivers when people can't be ***** indicating.

I paid £1500 on 09 A3 2.0 TDI with mods declared aged 19 at the time, 2 yrs ncb with my father as the named driver... if you shop around it definitely pays.

There's V Power here. Petrol and Diesel. Infact, my local Shell didn't have any regular diesel, only V Power the last time I went!

Sorry to hear that mate. I can't comment on the body shop, but as they're Audi approved if they do a shoddy job (like what I had at an approved repair centre) it's pretty easy to get Audi UK involved and from my experience things get sorted fairly quickly then, so even if you don't hear off...
