    Last number on alternator part number???

    Hi is there a significance to the last letter on partnumber for alternator??? 03L903023 some end with the letter a some d and so on does it make any difference before i buy one and its wrong cheers

    03L903023 that is the part number but at the end there is a letter on replacement ones would that effect fitment, mine does not have a letter at the end

    Hi guys my alternator has packed up on my a1 1.6tdi cayc engine code finding a replacement the options are a bosch or valeo are the both the same current one is a bosch 140amp will the valeo fit or should i look for a bosch one Cheers
