Jardo's 'Journey to quattro' - My Story...

A costly couple of weeks in the Jardo house. Love to @scotty_24 for being a hero. Cambelt, waterpump and tensioner done. Coilovers fitted. Polybushed lower arms. Track rods replaced. Bottom ball joints replaced. Polybushed rear tie arms fitted. New headlight switch. 20mm spacers. MOT'd. Wet...

⚠️Have you checked your rear tie arms lately?⚠️

Morning all, Doing a bit of work on the S3 yesterday and I came across this. All four were just as bad. I cannot stress enough how important it is that you thoroughly check over your car, especially if it is new to you. I've done about 250 miles since November in my S3, any one of...

Jardo's 'Journey to quattro' - My Story...

Thanks guys! Progress has been slow due to baby presence. Cleaned, done a few hundred miles in it, driven it in the snow, it's great. Slow. But great.

Jardo's 'Journey to quattro' - My Story...

Hi. Yes I do all of my own paint correction, have done for years. The tools you use really aren't that important however my polisher is a Rupes. I am a big fan of Chemical Guys V34, it just does everything. I used it in this instance, then worked to Chemical Guys V38 to finish. Thanks...

Jardo's 'Journey to quattro' - My Story...

S3 ownership is very much business as usual. Before - Many hours of machine polishing and measured applications of Swissvax later - I set about replacing a headlight bulb, but no luck. So off came the bumper, clearly for the first time in it's life. The...

Don't get it tuned anywhere that tells you to run a 4bar and an MBC for you to map it, they're clearly stupid c**ts. Take it to Jabbasport, they gave me this for my Mk2 (AGU with a K04, 440's, bosch pump, fmic, VR6 MAF, downpooper) £480 for a FULL day, 9AM to 6:30PM with the owner of the...

Clutch - S3 - Sutiable For Track Days

That clutch is spot on, my money is on the flywheel. CG are only saying its "under spec" for the power because it doesn't have a solid flywheel, the CG kit they are recommending is the same friction plate with a SF. I'll come look at it some time for you.

    S3 Boot liner available?

You absolutely will not find a higher quality boot liner - http://www.hatchbag.co.uk/a3-all-models-1996-to-2003 http://www.hatchbag.co.uk/boot-liners/audi/s3-2000-2003 My mum's had one for the last 5 years in all of her Fiat 500's; it's amazing.
