The police should disregard that statement, unless the woman (who is probably a do-gooder the poodles around at 22mph and regards everyone who passes her as a speeder) is a weekend race marshal.

    Serviced, now a pressurised oilcap???

Right, anything air is drawn through that narrows, even slightly, will cause a low pressure area. That's a venturi. A jet engine is open at the front, about as free flowing as you can get. Serviced, now a pressurised oilcap???

Rings on way out doesn't necessarily mean loads of burning oil, its just piston blow-past ends up in the crankcase and builds up pressure. Just a thought.

Before you start on the road of expenditure to try and cure it by buying one part after another, get it checked on VAGCOM. Look in the VAGCOM forum for someone in your area that has it, most people are willing to help. I have used my cable more on other people's vehicles that I have on my own.

    ******Bad Language******

if someone put "my f'ing brakes are f'ing driving me f'ing crazy, the f'ing MF'er of a car is constantly f'ing causing me f'ing problems!" then that is unnecessary and profane. However, a joke containing a swear word is funny, look at the best comedians, a simple swear word in the right context...

So are we saying that profanity, even when in context and not as an insult is prohibited as well and that this ban is all-encompassing?

You could get a clarion 5 channel amp to replace it if you want a better amp, but I guess an eBay one is going to be okay, its just risky.
