I always fit the 6000k 55w kit find them to be the brightest. All the kits I've fitted to projector lenses have always had a slight blue colour difference one side.

Search the part number on amazon they come up pretty cheap.

you are right It is a thermistor. The mirrors from ecp have them. I found all the aftermarket mirrors were the wrong colour either to dark tint or no tint at all. I ended up getting a genuine one just cause the colour difference from the opposite mirrors was bugging me.

As for your question about guides get on ebay and order a copy of elsawin. should only be about £10 its the proper technical mauals audi use and its cheaper than haynes.

I fitted the LUK clutch and flywheel kit to mine 3 years and 30000 miles ago and its still going strong.

I cant see why you couldnt as long as the amphere rating of the connector you use to splice the wire is rated high enough to handle the power.

No worries. Not sure where the earths are without looking at the diagrams. I would probably start with the MAP sensor personally as the readings from that could cause the MAF sensor code and it would affect the fueling which could affect the readings from the Oxygen Sensor(s). I dont have much...
