Beware though can and will throw the car into limp mode and only way to get it out is disconnecting the battery or clearing it via vag com.
I had one on my 8L S3 and was ok for a few days then...
This is correct some cat C cars can end up on the road and all cat D cars can be repared however they must be checked by VOSA.
This only involves checking the identity of a vehicle ie VIN/Chassis numbers etc. Do they match, look dodgy etc and NOT the repair.
If ok they will rubber stamp it...
Exactly!
Even a new set would be much less cheaper than buying brand new and I think the Cupra R benefits from the larger disc than the standard GT kit from Brembo.
1. Go down on Monday
2. Get them to get the mechanic who "road tested" the car to come and see you infront of the manager
3. Get the exact 0.4 mile route written down on paper EXACTLY where they went

The RNS-D was the one fitted to...
You may find you will get annoying steering wheel vibration at motorway speeds ie 70mph plus. Make sure you fit them the best you can or get some hubcentric ones!
There are loads of decent companies with a vast knowledge of VAG tuning, a search should reveal peoples experience and opinions.
Off the top of my head....
Superchips
Revo
Star Performance (Scotland)
AMD
APS
Jabba Sport
Awesome in Manchester
Those are the ones I'd consider
