Some of you guys already know this, but there isn't a very cheap solution for a high flow downpipe & CAT for the 1.8TQ. The only one on the market I could find was milltek, but I believe they have stopped making it now anyway (and it was over £800) I came to the conclustion that the MK1 180Bhp...

^^ thats bull, one of best mates is a police officer. They are clamping down on loud exhaust systems that's it, with regards to MOT all they are doing is bringing the readiness tests in. Think of all the cars out there with after market exhausts, can't ban them all

I personally don't see why it is a problem considering when you brake it also switches off, the orange haldex controller keeps the 4 wheel drive active while breaking... But saying that I have also read the same thing about 30Mph thing
