i cant even get it to 45mph! even on a relatively flat surface..

yeah upto 2000rpm, it doesnt move at all, it revs and i can hear the engine revving up. i dunno, it smells like burnt plastic? cant really place it.

i have a 99 A3 1.8t sport, was driving home yesterday and when pulling away from a set of lights (normally, no F1 style starts for me!), i started noticing my bite point wasnt where it usually is which is around 800rpm where i'm normally off the clutch then onto the gas pedal and it pulls away...

i'll check it again to see how much over it is when i get home. it will have been off for most of the day so good time to check. thanks guys.

just got my car back from its 60k service and now when its turned on i get an engine warning light come on and warning beeps. i looked in the manual and its the engine coolant warning. the warning light (and warning beeps) usually goes away after a minute whilst the engine is warming up...

that helps. i'll have to get it done/looked at tomorrow when i have a moment.

my car is currently in the garage for my cambelt service and they've told me that my lights are dipping the wrong way, whereabouts is the lever which adjusts the direction of the dip? a diagram/pic to show where the switch is would be good. much appreciated.

another silly question, on the ebay ones from germany, of the 2 white "adjusting thingys" which adjusts what? height/left and right?

when the original pre-facelift lights were removed, we came to the conclusion that the cables meant the following: yellow = dipped orange = side white = main grey = fog so i wired the cables in the rectuangular plug in the new lights to be: white/yellow/orange/brown, that worked but the...

a bit of clarification please because i think i've wired the lights up wrong :) at the moment, when i turn the dial 2 notches to the right for what i assume is dipped lights the lights next to the indicator turn on and when i push the left hand side stalk forward or backwards, the center lights...
