Car is due a service Gazwould, this is an interesting thread. The longlife oil sounds good then as long as it is not used as audi intended? I drop the oil every 4k/8 months so that isn't an issue would you recommend longlife on any state of tune (mild tune 340hp hybrid)? Also would I just give...
Lovely looking example you have there :-)
I was admiring your engine bay and coolant bottle!! ha ha, mine is yellowing and yours looks pristine!
I noticed your washer jet bottle has a black cap, mine is blue but I prefer your black one. Did you change yours or has it always been black? Just...
Is it really obvious the headlights moving TJ?
I bought new motors for mine. Had the car 4 years now and they haven't ever worked so I didn't realise they weren't working as I never relaised what they were supposed to do!!
The difference on the look of the old tired headlights to the new one's really is night and day!! :-)
Mine are being fitted tomorrow, did you have any issues or any tips you can share?
I wasn't sure where the new ballast went as I couldn't even see where the old one is located!!
Does anybody know if the headlight levelling sensors show up as a fault when scanned? I think it's the motors that are at fault and will be replaced but was just curious.
Thanks.
Mine has never failed an MOT but I dont hear or see my headlights moving.
Are these motors easy to fit or is it best to do them while the headlights are out of the car?
@Trups - looking good mate.
Morning, ok trups so park facing a wall and turn headlights on. If they don't move I need to replace the two? Headlight levelling sensors?
I'm sure mine don't do anything.
Morning people,
My offside rear caliper has just started to bind ever so slightly. I am planning to order two new rear one's today and get them swopped over.
Has anybody changed a rear caliper? Where is the best place to buy from and best brand to go for?
Thanks.
Mine don't appear to be doing anything. So you should see/hear the light move (self test) each time you turn them on?
It doesn't have to be when the car is fully loaded or anything?
I like your thinking tj as the original ones as you say are 15 years old. Does anybody know if the original part would still be working properly and if they tend to fail?
Just trying to decide if it's something I should also look at doing but I have no knowledge of the part or it's longevity...
