hydrocarbons are usually found in recent head off engine work (contamination) but you can tell if its a fault as they will rise live if there is still a problem
A good point the Goal has made is that it looks like it has been left a while like this, so Audi will and quite rightly so say its neglect and refuse any warranty, look into there small print it tells you about it..
So i would factor in a spray job or get the garage to do it before the sale?, on...
Wont need a puller it will fall off, by the looks of them bolts it looks a bit chewed up, they are very tight, make sure the tool goes all the way in..if they slip you will need to chisel them round and get new bolts.
I used to have this problem, is the turbo support bracket on? he wont have inserts if its a shanghai suprise turbo, and nordlock washers dont work, the only way i stopped mine was tacking the bolts with a mig welder..
